Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a medical imaging procedure that provides access to the inside of the body through an endoscope, a flexible device shaped like a tube. This method is used to perform a direct visual examination of the digestive system and other internal organs. Here is what you need to know about endoscopy:

- Upper Endoscopy (Upper GI Endoscopy)
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- Endoscopic Ultrasonography (EUS)
- Capsule Endoscopy
- Endoscopic Surgery: In some cases, endoscopic procedures can provide treatment without surgical intervention. For example, procedures such as polyp removal, taking tissue samples, stopping bleeding or opening blockages can be performed endoscopically.
- Preparation and Procedure: Before endoscopy, patients are usually subjected to preparatory procedures such as fasting for a certain period of time and taking bowel cleansing medications. During the procedure, sedation is usually applied and patients are ensured to be relaxed and comfortable.
- Endoscopy is an effective method for the examination and treatment of many internal organs such as the digestive and respiratory systems. In case of any symptom or suspicion, it is important to have an endoscopy in consultation with a doctor.
